Cotinus Spoon

Carved from a radially cleft piece of Cotinus (Smoke Bush), an ornamental shrub that naturally presents a golden coloured timber. A small knot in the handle skews the perception of the shape but does not affect the functionality of the spoon

Collected from a farm just outside of Bath, Somerset and shaped with axe and knives before being finished with hempseed oil.
